ob das mantra allgemein verwendet werden darf weiß nicht, ansonsten viel spaß
Transcendental Meditation as taught by Maharishi utilizes a few mental
principles:
1. The mind is more charming at finer levels of abstraction, so we use a
sound which has no exact meaning, the mantra, and just think it and follow
that sound to the source of sound and thought, which is our own
consciousness, which is the most abstract level of thought and which is full
of charm. This can be called self satisfaction.
2.a. Sit comfortably and close the eyes. Do not concentrate on or against
the mantra, sounds in the enviroment,
thoughts, physical sensations or anything. The key point is not to
concentrate. If you feel headachey then you know you are concentrating and
need to stop meditating during the session until the sensation stops, then
you can start again.
b.The mind will wander. When you notice it wandering start the mantra
again. If the mind wanders too much to meditate then stop meditating and
feel the body. Usually thoughts accompany physical stress release and so
you can be aware of the physical source of the mental strain. It's good
just to feel the physical if overwhelming thoughts occur. Just be with the
feelings until they pass. Then you can meditate again.
3.TM is simple but its simplicity can be hard for some to get used to
because we are all used to concentrating on things always and you are being
asked to do the opposite. If you notice your life becoming difficult then
stop immediately. Most people learn TM from a certified teacher. This in
itself is helpful but will not guarantee a smooth ride. Some people have a
predisposition for meditative activity and some others cannot handle the
greater abstraction. The reason for the charitable action that I prescribed
was so that when you experience feelings of doubt about yourself (that all
people have) because you are becoming very very aware of what thoughts lurk
beneath the surface which may have been covered up, you will feel ok about
yourself. Many people find all their heavily developed foundations crumbling
away because ultimately all our personalites are dependent on many factors
which all together comprise our mental view. In meditation we are asking to
be stripped of our original conceptions in order to rebuild them at a new
level of more wholistic understanding. Charitable practices are very basic
to overcoming the feeling of helplessness as illusions about ourselves are
cleaned away. The whole process helps pull one into the present by releasing
baggage. Many of us though are used to and attached to the baggage.
4. The mantra changes as it is repeated silently. Go with the changes.
When the mantra becomes unidentifiable then reintroduce it in its original
form.
5. Your mantra is "Hirim." Hirim is pronounced "he ream." It is based on
bija mantra "hrim" which is bija of Mahamaya, also called Bhuvaneshwari.
All Tm mantras come from
Shakta Tantra of India. They are all names of Divine Mother or Shakti
Herself. These are the mantras of the householder and are for those living
in society. They bring support of Mother Nature and salvation. They always
work, which is why I can empower you with them. They do not require a TM
teacher in spite of what they may say. This is the TM mantra. Again, "Hee
Reem, Hee Reem, Hee Reem," repeat this many times out loud then more
silently and more silently until it is purely in the mind. Then never say
it out loud again. It will remain an absolute field mantra. All this
universe is maya. By using Maya mantra you gain support of Maya for
fulfillment of wishes and liberation.
6. You may meditate once a day up to a half hour. Morning is best. Lay down
head at least for ten full minutes afterwards. Keep a journal for first
month and jot down a few sentences only about experiences. Then move on.
Do not gloat on either positive or negative experiences. Always someone
will have had better and worse experiences than you. They always change and
the silence that comes is what one wants to stabilize. You do this through
rest and activity. Meditate then go live, then meditate and go live. Don't
sit around speculating on experiences but move on. Rest and activity.
7. You wont be able to participate in TM
functions based on what I have taught you. But you now have a meditation
technique. When you have realizations I want you to research your religion
or other spiritual paths for similar things. Of especial value are Tibetan
Buddhism and Vedanta. You will find much breadth of wisdom in them finally.
Keep me informed especially if you have problems. Reread this whole message
from point one many times to reiterate the technique. Especially the part
about effortlessness. Tell me if I forgot something or something seems
confusing. Give it a shot. Have some balls and don't fear. This is a
very great mantra and
now you know how to use it. So use it.
